Jeanne Wagner presents at the SFSA 2017 Conference
We are excited to announce that our very own Jeanne Wagner will be attending and presenting at the Steel Founder’s Society of America (SFSA) Technical and Operating (T&O) Conference in Chicago later this week (December 6th-9th).
SFSA T&O conference brings together foundries all over North America for presentations from metallurgical and foundry engineering to safety and HR.
“Wednesday December 6th they will start with a workshop, usually with some “hands-on aspects” followed by two and a half days of presenters”, says Wagner talking about the T&O Conference. At this premiere steel casting meeting, Wagner will be presenting Friday and Saturday December 8th and 9th discussing the differences between different types of analytical spectrometers and a comparison between water quenching and gas quenching in a vacuum furnace.
Wagner has attended this conference since 2003 and she admits that she enjoys presenting at the SFSA T&O. Wagner has been Stainless Foundry & Engineering’s Technical Director for the past 8 years and has the experience and knowledge to present in front of the 50 other foundries that attend. Some of the same general topics are covered year to year, however there are always new topics and new presenters that enable you to learn and pick up on different technology and trade happenings. “It’s also a great place to network and get advice on a specific topic in your foundry”, Wagner admits.
Jeanne Wagner’s papers from the last five years will be available on our website for download post T&O Conference presentation.
