Valve Body

The body is the pressure containing the vessel of the valve. Sometimes also called the shell, as the framework that holds all the parts together, it’s a critical component in delivering mediums, as it alters the passage section and direction flow into another area.

The primary function is to cut off, throttle, regulate, divert, and provide overflow relief, resisting fluid pressure loads from connecting piping. Dealing with pressure loads is key. All variations are produced at Stainless Foundry & Engineering (SF&E), including:
